Sponsored by Sino-US Nuclear Medical College, Linyi Talents Office and Tancheng County People's Government, the Third Sino-US Nuclear Medical College Forum and the 2018 Linyi International Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Summit Forum, hosted by Shandong Medical Association Nuclear Medicine Branch, Tancheng County Talents Leading Group Office and Shandong Madic Technology Co., LTD., were held in 2018. Professor Li Yaming and Professor Zhou Yun of Johns Hopkins University served as chairmen of the conference.
The opening ceremony was held at 6:30 p.m. on 17 August 2018. Li Zongtao, vice chairman of Linyi Municipal Consultative Conference, delivered a warm speech on behalf of Linyi City. Experts from home and abroad are welcome to attend the conference. Wu Shouju, deputy county governor of Tancheng County People's Government, and Professor Li Yaming signed a framework agreement on the preparation of "Tancheng International Molecular Imaging Center" on behalf of Tancheng County People's Government and China-US Nuclear Medical College. Tancheng International Molecular Imaging Center was established to introduce world-class molecular imaging experts, incubate nuclear medicine and molecular imaging related industry projects, and build a 10 billion-level molecular imaging industry cluster. During the meeting, Tancheng International Molecular Imaging Center docked several industrial projects, including cyclotron equipment production project, medical treatment nuclide production project, medical radiopharmaceuticals production project, drug R&D outsourcing service project, new drug R&D project, drug R&D quantitative software project, covering nuclear medicine molecules. From August 18 to 19, 29 experts from the United States, Britain, Germany, Korea, Japan, Australia, Finland, Pakistan, Mongolia and other countries held wonderful academic reports. The conference's academic report is of high level, new content and wide field, which has been unanimously praised by the experts participating in the conference.
The Organizing Committee of the conference decided that the 4th China-US Nuclear Medical College Forum and the Linyi International Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Summit Forum will be held on October 11, 2019.
